Jodie is a warm, approachable and insightful counsellor with many years of experience. Jodie specialises in many modalities which can help support her clients with a variety of concerns and is currently a Level 2 Member of Australian Counselling Association. Jodie provides support to adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Jodie is aware that stepping out to make that first appointment to counselling is courageous. Jodie likes to ensure that each client feels comfortable and she will talk through the different support strategies she uses in session. Jodie understands that each person is unique and that is the focus that she takes with each client, working with them on their own unique journey.
Jodie's practice is about supporting you so therefore she listens to seek what would be the best fit with the different methods she has been trained in. Be this Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Poly Vagal Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, person centred therapy, mindfulness and Gestalt. Along with being a published author, Jodie continues to study and with her general practice has special interest in family law, grief/loss, addiction, trauma, anxiety and depression. She loves to empower, support and offer hope to others so that they can begin the journey to heal. Jodie has strong belief choice truly is a superpower.
